Afrisites Tours and Travel offers safaris in Uganda and Rwanda. Whether you want a luxury, mid-range or budget safari, we have you covered. We aim at exceeding our clients’ expectations. These safaris can be primate safaris, wildlife safaris, honeymoon safaris, bird watching safaris and adventure safaris. We also have walking safaris, cultural safaris and many more.
We offer gorilla trekking safaris in Uganda and Rwanda. 51% of the world’s remaining mountain gorillas are found in Uganda — Bwindi. The rest are in Volcanoes National Park and the Virunga massif. Some travellers prefer to trek gorillas in Uganda at Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park or Mgahinga National Park; others prefer Rwanda.
Uganda has 14 habituated gorilla families, each with 10 to 40 members of varying ages headed by a silverback (the oldest male) in the group. Gorilla safaris in Uganda can also be combined with wildlife in other parks — Queen Elizabeth National Park for tree-climbing lions, Kibale Forest National Park for chimpanzees and other primates. Gorilla Safaris
Gorilla safaris are an exhilarating experience that allows travellers to witness one of the rarest and most majestic creatures on Earth, the mountain gorilla. These primates can only be found in a few places in the world, including Uganda, Rwanda and the Democratic Republic of Congo. During a gorilla safari, visitors are accompanied by a knowledgeable guide who leads them through the dense forests to the gorillas’ natural habitat. The trek can be challenging, but the reward is a close encounter with these gentle giants. Gorilla safaris offer a unique opportunity to learn about these animals, their behaviour, and the conservation efforts in place to protect them.
Wildlife Safaris
Wildlife safaris in East Africa are a popular attraction for travellers seeking a unique and unforgettable adventure. The region is home to some of the world’s most magnificent animals, including the African elephant, lion, leopard, cheetah and buffalo, as well as an array of bird species. Uganda and Rwanda offer outstanding wildlife viewing, with national parks such as Queen Elizabeth, Murchison Falls, Kidepo and Akagera. Safari-goers can choose from game drives, walking safaris and boat launches. In addition to the wildlife, visitors can experience the rich culture of the region, including its music, dance and cuisine.

Unbelievable! Our guide was the best we could ask for — enthusiastic, but also listened to what we wanted to do. Flexible on timings and respectful of the wildlife. During booking we asked many questions and personalised the route. The responses were extremely helpful and accommodating. All in all, a great company and a great experience.
Experience of a lifetime. Memorable trip. Stunning experiences. Great lodges. And our tour guide was the perfect person for our round trip.
Amazing Uganda. Excellent, unique and interesting tour. Most of African wildlife can be seen — gorillas and chimpanzees are the highlights. Very well planned and organised. Highly skilled and professional guide and driver. Mostly recommended.
