5-Days Gorilla & Chimpanzee Primate Safari 2026

Day 01 :

Transfer to Kibale National Park

You’ll be collected from Entebbe or Kampala and driven to Kibale National Park (5–7 hours). Enjoy the changing landscapes and stop for lunch along the way.

Day 02 :

Chimpanzee Tracking and Bigodi Wetland Walk

Early breakfast followed by a morning chimpanzee tracking trek in Kibale Forest. In the afternoon enjoy a guided walk through the Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary, home to many monkeys and over 100 bird species.

Day 03 :

Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

After breakfast you will drive to Bwindi (4–5 hours) with a lunch stop. Arrive in the afternoon and receive your gorilla trek briefing.

Day 04 :

Mountain Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi

Full day dedicated to gorilla trekking — the highlight of the safari. Trek into the forest, locate a gorilla family, and spend one unforgettable hour with them.

Day 05 :

Return to Entebbe/Kampala and Departure

Morning transfer back to Entebbe or Kampala (6–8 hours) with lunch en route. You will arrive in time for your onward flight.
