Booking Terms and conditions
by booking a Tour you acknowledge that you have read, understand and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you make a booking on behalf of other participants, you guarantee that you have the authority to accept these Terms on behalf of the other participants in your party.
Your booking is confirmed and a contract exists when Afrisites Tours and Travel or your travel agent issues a written confirmation after receipt of the applicable deposit amount. Please check your confirmation carefully and report any incorrect or incomplete information to Afrisites Tours and Travel and/or authorized agent immediately. Please ensure that names are exactly as stated in the relevant passport. You must be at least 18 years of age to make a booking. You agree to provide full, complete and accurate information to Afrisites Tours and Travel. The agreement becomes effective only after written confirmation of the booking by the other party within the agreed time frame and only after a 40% down payment or security deposit from the other party has been collected. For Gorilla permit booking, a full payment of USD 800 is to be paid.
By booking on behalf of other participants, you are deemed to be the designated contact person for every participant included on that booking. This means that you are responsible for making all payments due in connection with your Tour booking, notifying Afrisites Tours and Travel or your travel agent if any changes or cancellations are required and keeping your party informed. By booking on behalf of another person or persons, you represent and warrant that you have obtained all required consents. You are responsible for verifying that any information you provide on behalf of another participant is complete and accurate and Afrisites Tours and Travel will under no circumstances be liable for any errors or omissions in the information provided to complete a booking.
40 % of the total sum is due 14 days after reservation, the final sum must be paid 30-45 days before the beginning of the tour. If the booking is done 30 – 14 days before arrival, the whole amount of the reservation is charged 14 days before arrival. If the reservation is done less than 14 days before arrival, the whole amount of reservation is charged immediately.
When making the reservation in the online system, the first payment is charged immediately. Remaining sum must be paid latest 14 days before the beginning of the tour. The final sum is not charged automatically. The payment can be submitted with the invoice which is sent automatically to the e-mail address provided by the client/tour agent while making the booking. Payment can be done by credit card by contacting and authorizing the personnel in the sales office. Payment dates does not affect the terms and timelines of cancellation. The client carries all the charges in relation to the money transfer billed by the transferring bank. Net amount written on the invoice should be paid as written; client incurs any extra charges for the transfers.
The client is responsible for the contents of the rented vehicle during the rental period or his/her belongings during the tour period. The client is liable to compensate Afrisites Tours and Travel for any damage caused to the rented vehicle or its contents during the rental period. Afrisites Tours and Travel is not responsible for the guest’s personal effects kept in a booked accommodation or other premises or which are left in the accommodation. Lost and found items are shipped to the client at the client expenses.
Any complaints about the tour, safari vehicle or the condition of the booked property must be expressed immediately after they arise. Urgent matters that need repair or fixing immediately by phone to 24 hour service number provided to you. You may also give feedback in writing by email.
You must provide any medical information reasonably requested by Afrisites Tours and Travel and may be required to represent a complete medical information form. Medical Forms are mandatory for certain Tours. If you have any pre-existing medical conditions which may impact their ability to travel, participate in a Tour, travel to remote areas without access to medical facilities or may adversely affect the experience of others on your Tour, you must return a Medical Form, signed by a licensed and practicing physician to Afrisites Tours and Travel prior to or at the time of final payment for the applicable booking.
Afrisites Tours and Travel reserves the right to request further information or professional medical opinions where necessary, as determined in its discretion, for your safety or the safe operation of a Tour. Afrisites Tours and Travel reserves the right to deny you permission to travel or participate in any aspect of a Tour at any time and at your own risk and expense where Afrisites Tours and Travel determines that your physical or mental condition renders you unfit for travel or you represent a danger to yourself or others.
Pregnancy is considered a medical condition and must be disclosed at the time of booking. Airlines may refuse to carry pregnant women over 24 weeks. Afrisites Tours and Travel may refuse to carry anyone with certain medical conditions if reasonable accommodation or alternatives cannot be arranged.
Any special requirements must be disclosed at the time of booking. Afrisites Tours and Travel will use reasonable efforts to accommodate special requirements or requests but this is not always possible.
The published price of the Tour and any products or services offered by Afrisites Tours and Travel is subject to change at any tim.
